A lot of people in God’s house have eyes but can’t see, ears but can’t hear. They are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Scripture Ref: Matthew 13:9; 11:15; Mark 4:9; Matthew 13:10-17;
We need Intuitive hearers and listeners, those who hear with their spirit and not with their senses only. Intuitive listeners are close observers, they are inquirers. They are not only following with the crowd and men-pleasers, but they are also looking for answers for some of life’s most difficult questions. They are tired of the norm. They want answers. They don’t just come to church to get tickled or to get a quick fix. They come to be changed, delivered, set free from whatever had them bound. Believe it or not, some people don’t want any change. They just want to go through life as they have been all their lives.
Special Point: When the disciples wondered why Jesus spoke to the people in parables, Jesus responded by telling them that I meant speaking to them in parables because I wanted to see if they really wanted a change in their lives. If I spoke to them without parables, they would’ve changed but I wanted to see if they really wanted a change. If they wanted a change they would’ve come to me for an understanding of what I just said. Because you intuitively heard what I just said in the parable, it is given unto you to know and to understand but to them without, it has been spoken in a parable.
Special Point: The Spirit of God said, “Don’t stay on the outside looking in, come on in and feast at his table.”
